If you look at Audio Hijack Pro’s Effects grid, you can see that we had some of the same features available. But using that grid was hardly a fun thing. It wasn’t pretty, and every effect spawned its own window for settings. We knew we needed to avoid that, and we worked out the idea of using popovers.
