Here's my guesses to why it's not working/how to make it work: -It's possible they blocked the mac downloader since they shut down the mac version of the game -Make sure you have permissions to install -Make sure you're installing the game under Macintosh HD/Applications instead of Macintosh HD/Users/yourname/Applications or vice versa -You're running at least Mac OSX 10.6.6 and have a few gigs free space. Not working for OS 10.5.x? It seems like the version of adobe air included in the most recent installer will not work on my computer running 10.5.8. It's quite annoying and I feel like Riot should take a look at this (It's a common occurrence with Macs). It's game changing if I can't flash or barrier in a fight, when I may have lived but almost exclusively die. I've lowered my settings, and it happens on all settings.

It happens a lot right before death, especially large teamfights or super-pixel heavy ability spams (lookin at you, lissandra).but it also happens when a ton of shit is going on on your screen. It also happens when you initially load the game ('welcome to summoners rift') and all the characters are bouncing around the nexus spawn as they head to lane, sometimes when there is a jungle invade at the beginning right as the jungle spawns (usually red side), and if there are enough minions in the middle of an ability-spam battle. It's not video settings. Most of our video cards beat out a lot of league players standard cards on PC.
